Explore a wide variety of native and endangered Australian species at Potoroo Palace, a nonprofit sanctuary offering visitors a chance to observe potoroos, swamp wallabies, eastern gray kangaroos, wombats, koalas, snakes, and birds. This nature park offers hands-on tours for children, which provide an educational and entertaining way to learn about the importance of environmental conservation. • Spur of the moment visit as we were waiting for an event and had such a fun time exploring. All the enclosures were great with lots of space for the animals and plenty of information for visitors. Man...  more »
  • Good place to spend a couple of hours on a slightly rainy day. It's a place where injured animals were brought in for treatment so don't expect a zoo-like place with many animals. It was nice to walk ...  more »

  • Good place to take young kids! We got to feed the kangaroos and watch the echidnas have something to eat. The kids loved the little train ride.
  • Remember this isn't a zoo, its a sanctuary. Spent 7hrs with the kids, fed every animal, did the wombat experience, kids even went with the keeper into many animals cages to handfeed. Rode the train and didn't even spend $80. What an awesome place and we even got a letter in the mail from the wombats. How cool is that
  • Lovely atmosphere and you can get up close and personal with allot of beautiful Australian animals.
  • Lovely wildlife center with amazing animals 8/10
  • Nice natural zoo. Hippie atmosphere. The less impressive part is the one of the Koalas. With a souvenirs shop with bar service.
