  • When I was growing up in the next suburb Williamston was a down at heel old town that because of all the government land in its boundary didn't get enough rate revenue to maintain the roads properly! ...  more »
  • Williamstown is a nice place to visit. Whenever I'm staying in Victoria I like to visit Williamstown, there are several fantastic ice-cream shops around, and you may even see the possums in the trees! 
  • You can go by train run on the ground that the metro from the heart of Melbourne. And the train one way and takes about 20 minutes near. Also, you can enjoy from the Yarra River in central Melbourne to Williamstown and out future ferry, cruise.
