  • Loved the aquarium route was easy to follow the staff were all super friendly and helpful and were a wealth of knowledge the penguins were definitely my favourite.
  • I was looking forward to taking my two year old niece to Sea Life given her love of fish. I was extremely disappointed with the size of some of the tanks - far too small! The thought of fish, sharks a...  more »

  • $41.50 for a single pass! Are you crazy??? This is ridiculously unfriendly, no wonder why it's losing customers. This is a dead loop don't you understand? Less customer means less income to cover the cost, so you charge more on tickets but you will only get even fewer customers. Why should I pay $8 more for buying a ticket on site than online? Rip off and I will never go again.
  • It's an absolutely fun experience with friends or family. You get to see exotic sea life ranging from a small clownfish to moderately big sharks and manta rays. Oh, and penguins! How can I forget those funny little penguins. All in all it's a good 2-3 hours of fun.
  • Great aquarium. Gets busy on weekends and during school holidays. Use a voucher from the Melbourne Visitor guide (available on city circle trams) to get discount entry. They also do after dark sessions for adults with free flowing drinks, food and love music. Makes the experience that much better!
  • Take a break from your usual day above the city, and take a trip underground into the Sea Life Museum. A fair sized aquarium with decent sized tanks for the majority of the sea life to live in (compared to others in Australia) Enjoy the atmosphere and check out the penguin enclosure. Though unfortunately for those after the full penguin experience, they only take 3 people at a time, which doesn't work for families or if a couple have booked, there's no room for a second couple unless they book a different day (would be nice if they took 4 people to allow for this). Aside from that, it's a great place for families.
  • Nice collection of sea creatures. The tube was awesome! Nice feeling when a shark flies over your head :) The place has options for scuba diving with the sharks. Make a prior booking to do that since the slots are limited. Will definitely try it next time! The gift shop has some nice toys & souvenirs.
