  • Royal arcade finish in this one, it was like lying on Castle model courses. Round arched ceiling to match the characteristics of bi-擺 design by soldiers, is a real good point for taking pictures. This Mai chocolate shops are available there still not over is not cheap.

  • This commercial Gallery stands out for its architecture and the quality of its stores. Only to see it inside and a stroll is enough because it is really worth. If something this city stands out is its famous arcades, since this is the most significant of them all.

  • This is the oldest arcade in Australia originally built in 1870. It was a lovely place to visit. With its vintage decor, it's like stepping back in time. I recommend a stop at the chocolate shop.  more »

  • What a beautiful arcade. Well over 100 years old with some beautiful architecture to suit. I visit almost every time im in the city. Its that cool. Few little boutique shops inside are nice but nothing special. Would be great to see some old trades and things in here, a boot polisher an old style loly shop or something similar.
  • Great historic arcade, full of interesting shops. Worth visiting just for the statues of Gog and Magog (turn up just before they strike the hour on the big clock). This arcade is an excellent place for browsing.
  • Oh it's just lovely innit. Built 1893 by David C. Askew, inspired by the renowned Galleria Vittoria Emanuele in Milan.
  • Such a great arcade in Melbourne. Saw Gog & Magog strike the clock. Lovely shops, great variety, beautiful items to catch your eye. Good atmosphere. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  • Great alternative walk, meander upto Bourke Street. A few interesting shops to browse. Bit touristy. Can be busy during peak times.

Where to stay in Melbourne

The hub of tourist and commercial activity, the center of Melbourne remains the best place to stay if you're looking to splurge and enjoy every possible modern amenity during your visit. Travelers on a limited budget can search for cozy yet less expensive rooms in the seaside suburb of St Kilda or the bohemian neighborhood of Fitzroy. Though the city center offers more than a fair share of mid-range lodging options, you'll also find plenty of rooms in this price bracket in the quieter suburbs.
