  • Spring special time of year not only for us, but on the other side of the ball. Always interesting was learning at school fantasizing ... But as they ... upside down go? ... This is of course a joke, but if you are coming to Australia prepare for a different mentality, a different culture. Is a small, well-kept Park in downtown, not far from the houses of Parliament. the park itself if viewed from above is of triangular shape. .. As everywhere, all the bad, there are several sculptures dedicated to historical persons Australia.. Yes, look at the art and architecture of your, so you meet very many obscure constructions. so this original fountain. made as if to the contrary ... put upside down ... The Park is a kind of oasis in the heart of downtown Melbourne. Visit Parliament House ... This next ...

  • This is a small triangular garden opposite Parliament house in Spring Street which is a pleasant green space with some interesting statues often overlooked because of its size and location..  more »

  • A great little sanctuary on the corner if you need a break from the concrete jungle just over the road. garden always kept in meticulous order. Summer is the best when the fountain is on, but even on a cold grey day its glorious to reconnect
  • Small patch of green on the edge of the city. Primary feature is a modern water fountain which is essentially very ugly.
  • Well kept park bordered by busy streets. Small but plenty of seating and grassed areas to relax on.
  • Impressive building, worth visiting. Moreover there are many other beautiful places around.
  • Relaxing place in CBD. Perfect for short runaway

Where to stay in Melbourne

The hub of tourist and commercial activity, the center of Melbourne remains the best place to stay if you're looking to splurge and enjoy every possible modern amenity during your visit. Travelers on a limited budget can search for cozy yet less expensive rooms in the seaside suburb of St Kilda or the bohemian neighborhood of Fitzroy. Though the city center offers more than a fair share of mid-range lodging options, you'll also find plenty of rooms in this price bracket in the quieter suburbs.
