  • So many authentic objects on display. From the drama of the gold rush to the bushrangers and colonial history. A spectacular building. Make sure you see the 360 degree photo panorama.
  • Recommended a fast passage (a little over 1 hour) to visit this Museum free ranging from gold to banished from days of yore and generally extensively talks about the history of the city. Very kind staff!

  • Staff is warm and courteous. A place to understand the inner war struggle for those whom return back and work on the land given by the Government. 60% fail and abandon/ walk away from it.
  • Historic building of notable architecture. Excellent museum with history, maps and photographs of Melbourne. Downstairs there are vaults and the old caretakers quarters. Well worth a visit.
  • Great architecture and an incredible array of historical info inside. gold. Recommend for anyone interested in history, or gold.
  • Very nice historical place. Free entrance. An office staff lady gave me a general brief about the place as soon as I entered the place. Good to know about history of this building and various other stuff, like voting, criminals, farming in Victoria after WWII, etc.
  • Good Historical Place. The staff was very courteous.
