3.5/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web
Skate away to disco music at Medibank Icehouse, a large ice sports and entertainment venue. Centrally located in the heart of the Docklands, the complex has two Olympic-sized ice rinks. Never skated? Not to worry, as you can take part in a free 15-minute lesson. Watch the Australian Ice Hockey League games or go for The Avalanche ice tubing thrill ride. A fancy St Moritz Bar is on site. • This is a state of the art ice rink. The facilities are great and there are two olympic sized rinks.
  • Had geart time with family skating and having fun. Skate hire available, and people are great. Little ones can sit on plastic seals or use skate aids which are available for hire at reasonable rate. It is a really fun environment for the family.
  • A friend had her birthday in the function room recently. Unfortunately one of the guests broke their wrist ice skating but the assistance we received from the staff was fabulous. Thanks to Tom and Jack - you guys were great!
  • Ice skating in a great sized rink. Great setup. Plenty of parking, good cafe and music to keep you skating. The ice hockey was also a bit of fun to watch.
  • Just spent 3 whole days here, while in Melbourne. The price is good value if u want to skate for 3,6,12 hours straight if u had enough energy. The staff are wonderful and take 10 min to redo the skating surface every couple of hours...Loved it.
  • Nice place but it was full of learning school students so that dampened the experience. They should definately have to go at a separate time to the public!
