  • There is always somewhere nice to eat on this Lane. The prices are reasonable and the food is great and the service is great  more »
  • This area was recommended to us for an authentic Melbourne food experience. It looks very interesting with all the street cafes but the greeters outside the restaurants are annoyingly pushy. Our food ...  more »
  • A small street sandwiched in between old buildings makes this very inviting to sit at one of the many outdoor restaurant options. It was very vibrant every time we visited.  more »

  • Nice outside seating arrangements. Food reasonably good. Had chimichanga. Price reasonable. Friendly staff.
  • Great food and great environment. Just on a quite lane in the middle of the city. Staff are super nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend it
  • Very late snack, group of us shared the chimmy chenga, i personally did eat much of it however i did eat the guacamole which i felt tasted like avocado dip from the supermarket. Guacamole is so easy to perfect seriously sort that out.
  • We ordered the 3 Dips to share and it took way to long to come out and there excuse was a computer issue... the Dips were good but when there is 5ppl eating them the corn chip ratio was small and we had lots of dip left over. I got a large nachos and it was tiny and average. My partner got chicken fajitas and they were in a sort of tomato curry sauce it was more of an Indian tasting dish than mexican. They also use way to much coriander in all of there dishes. The place was loud manly from a group of girls downing margaritas who were clearly over intoxicated. The staff weren't very observant and we had to ask to order after being ignored for half an hour.
  • This place is horrible, the food tastes mostly like packet food. Not one person is of latin or Spanish descent, none of it tasted even slightly authentic. The guacamole was from those squeezy bottles you can purchase in Woolworthes and they charge you an extra $2.50 for it

Where to stay in Melbourne

The hub of tourist and commercial activity, the center of Melbourne remains the best place to stay if you're looking to splurge and enjoy every possible modern amenity during your visit. Travelers on a limited budget can search for cozy yet less expensive rooms in the seaside suburb of St Kilda or the bohemian neighborhood of Fitzroy. Though the city center offers more than a fair share of mid-range lodging options, you'll also find plenty of rooms in this price bracket in the quieter suburbs.
