Factory Outlet Shopping Mall
Harbour Town Melbourne is the city’s modern factory outlet mall, sprawling over 41,000 square meters (441,000 sq ft) in the Waterfront City precinct. This shopping center, situated underneath the Melbourne Star Ferris wheel, features over 200 stores. Melbourne is known as the fashion capital of Australia, and at this mall you can purchase branded merchandise at much cheaper prices than anywhere else in town. For visitors tired after a long day of shopping, the mall offers a number of entertainment options, such as the country’s first 18-hole glow-in-the-dark mini golf course and a relaxation area called Tourism Lounge. • Shopping in a chilled atmosphere. Melbourne Star is also at harbour town. Kids area. Wide variety of cafes and restaurants. Outdoor. Accessible by public transport.
  • Unique shopping centre that has the best of indoor and outdoors. Inspite of its prime location it is never busy. Plenty of parking and right next to Costco. Multiplex movie theatre and plenty of options for food. Hopefully it will be even better after the planned redevelopment.
  • Waste of time. Had the worst coffee ever at fine food. Call that a wheel?. We have been on Melbourne for 7 months and it's been fantastic. This was the only let down.
  • Limited fashion and size choices. Whatever clothing they have in stock are generally pretty ugly. Also doesn't have retail stores of well known designer brands - these are stocked in limited quantity by reseller stores. Prices can be amazing off season however, but good deals are hard to find.
  • It is a great place to just roam around and have a look in the shops. It is a great place to visit with your friends and family for a fun day out. It is great to take photos especially if you are a tourist, you can visit the Melbourne Star as it offers a great view of the city.
