  • We came in here at Xmas. They have changed it's name to Playtime. With that name change came a massive change in the way the place is operated too. The machines no longer take cash or tokens. You load...  more »

  • It will no longer be called that as it is closed for renovation. But whilst it was still alive, it was the go-to-place for CBD arcade (no one goes to the Docklands one). The machines are quite old, which explains the renovation. The card system is great when you can purchase a 1hr card. Problem is there are restrictions on the type game that can be played (obviously not all ticketed games can have unlimited 1hr play, that's understandable), so it's sort of a bummer once you've bought the card and realised how little choice you have. Overall it was great while it lasted in the early days. It was aging and I'm glad they're making some changes.
  • One of the last few places to have a decent variety of games and act like a 10year old again. Coin pushers are a rip off but hey i can't help myself sometimes!
  • I went to this Wonderful Place With my School when I Did the City Camp Last Year and I quite enjoyed the arcade games because I Realky like the Motorbike Simulators and earlier that Evening I went for Dinner at Blue Train Southbank and I had lots of food
  • I use to live in Queensland & they have the largest timezone in Australia, shame they rig all the machines to highest possible payout. I gave them a star rating of 2, I'm ashamed of them. At least now I live in Victoria & found the right Arcade for me, the prices aren't too fair, but like every arcade I guess it's a bit over the roof with prices, but I guess you have to pay to get good stuff these days, right? You could get a lot of bang for your buck, of course. Like every arcade, it doesn't last you long unless you do the time deal. I've won a lot from their claw machines, I also know Galactic Circus doesn't rig their machines as much as some arcades may, that's another reason why I recommend Galactic Circus, so that's good to know, thanks for being so generous, really good arcade! I hope some how it can improve even more soon by lowering some prices on certain games if you were to lower prices, I recommend you lowering machines like The Big One, Mega Stacker & also some certain other claw machines. Otherwise, I most surely recommend you coming here for the best holiday/best arcade you've been to in your whole entire life, I know its hard to believe it but yep! I'd like to say one more thing about this arcade, it's also great to have a fantastic, local arcade that is open till 2am some nights, if you're a night owl, I don't know if I'd stay up till then to go to a Arcade though, lol. Loved my experience here! Hope others do too.
  • With so much to offer and a collection of both old and new arcade machines, you could never get bored at galactic circus. Staff are friendly and generous making it an excellent place to plan events, kill time or kill each other in M9 or Time Crisis. Can't go wrong with hands down the best arcade in Melbourne!
