Eureka Skydeck, Melbourne

4.4
Sitting at 285 m (935 ft) above the streets of Melbourne, Eureka Skydeck is the highest public vantage point in a building in the Southern Hemisphere. Its name comes from its home on the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower, which itself is the 12th highest residential building in the world. For a thrill, walk out on The Edge, a glass enclosure that hangs 3 m (10 ft) off the side of the building. • Definitely worth a visit to Eureka Skydeck if you want to get a total view of Melbourne! Eat access here and good facilities with a cafe up the top so you can stay and enjoy the full 360 degree views of Melbourne which are spectacular. Experience the edge for a little more thrill but great for all ages.
  • Typical place to visit in a Metropolitan area. Interior design is quite unique and a great place to chill when you have time to spare. View is fantastic for sure at such high altitude. Worth a visit with family or if in the city for a few days.
  • Great way to appreciare the gorgeous view of the Melbourne city. It is thrilling to view the great accomplishment of this beautiful city, and it is also exciting to watch the combination of vintage Victorian buildings collide with the modern deluxe design from an bird's eye view. I stayed from afternoon till evening, both the sunset and the night scenery pounded my heart. Definitely worth going.
  • Spectacular views and awesome enthusiastic staffs. If you are planning to go up, do not miss the opportunity to visit the outdoor terrace and have an unobstructed view across Melbourne. Recommended visiting at night as there are generally lesser human traffic during that period.
  • Very nice! A must go to if you are in Melbourne. Spectacular in every sense of the word. Highly recommended. The best thing to do in Melbourne. The glass box thing is terrifying. If you're scared of heights like me, make sure you bring a spare pair of underwear. Will definitely go back.
