#5 of 32 in Wineries in McLaren Vale
Samuel's Gorge is a mosaic of dreams, with one principal philosophy, that of place.

Gondwana's division, Kukabrack custodians, European colonialism, Vignerons past, all led a group of friends and benevolent dreamers to become Samuel's Gorge

  • Quite possibly the nicest staff you could meet at any winery. Great view, great wine, great times.
  • Very chill laidback atmosphere with an AMAZING view. Passionate, not pretentious, workers who know their stuff but don't waffle. Loved it so much we returned the next morning for coffee, no wine tasting! Oh and their reds are the bomb - will definitely make it a priority to return next time we're in McLaren Vale
  • I always love coming to Samuel's Gorge. They make some brilliant red wines, the cellar door is charming, and the views out the back over the Onkaparinga Gorge are lovely.
  • Amazing wine. Super relaxed and helpful staff. We just parked ourselves on the lawn and they came to us with tastings. Then there's the view! I will be back!
  • Brilliance. Great wines. Great winemaker. Great hospitality. Great cellar door. Barossa Cabs & Wine Tours had a group of 8 ppl, coming to Mclaren Vale. Justin, from Samual's Gorge was wonderful. An awesome lunch at The Salopian Inn, with Justin, was engaging and fun. The food at the Salopian Inn was devine and a terrific recommendation. Justin's story telling and wines is a must visit for anyone in the Mclaren Vale.
