  • A really bizarre feeling walking in to the compound. I call it a compound because the architecture feels like a converted prison, but it's good, something interesting. Good wines, a mix of the wine maker's imported Italians and locals of the same process so great to get a bit of wine education in here.
  • Simply the best Cellar Door in McLaren Vale - period!! The wines are exceptional and the staff are very friendly. Thanks Primo for a great experience yet again. :)
  • Loved this winery. Great wine and superb service!
  • Arrogant service. Or I should say no service. We went there a few days ago, wanted wine tasting then got two white then they left you there because there are other guests sitting by the table and needed service and new guest who came in and grab four cases. Ok then we wait and wait and wait like 20 minutes. And Six of us, standing there, just got ignored. Apparently nobody cares about you because you asked for tasting first. Primo Estate looks fancy, but that's all. You do not care your wine, your customer, you big sell-out disgrace. I am learning to be a winemaker and someday I will have my own cellar door, I will tell this story to my workers and myself do not ever be Primo Estate Cellar door. Shame in McLaren Vale.
  • One word. Superb. Judy was fabulous, as were the wines!
