  • Tasting area was staffed by a knowlegable young lady who was able to explain the various wines available for tasting. Nice place to visit

  • Gorgeous location with a laid back atmosphere. Fabulous wood fired pizzas available. Indoor and outdoor seating available and the chance to see koalas and kangaroos at the adjacent animal park.
  • Always a great feed and nice layout and great cellar door staff that keep us coming back over many years. Woodstock is my go to Winery. Even on a cold winters day it's an inviting place to be.Very kid friendly cellar door.
  • Arrived at our booked time of 1:30pm and were promptly seated. Given a menu each and one wine list between 6. 10 minutes later our waitress came to take our food order and seemed slightly miffed when we told her we'd like to order drinks first. When it was time to order lunch we were informed that 2 of the 6 mains on offer had already run out (!?) The waitress was asked how the fish was cooked and her answer "In a pan" A further 40 minute wait during which my partner and his father (visiting from interstate) went up to the front desk for more drinks to help out the inattentive staff. Lamb dish was exceptional and faultless. Ahh the desert...lemon curd something or other for $16? 2 blobs of lemon curd about the size of a 5 cent piece, blobs of blowtorched soft marshmallow and a bit of cream and biscuit crumb, we took photo's of it to show our friends how restaurants can really take the piss nowadays. Overpriced with inexperienced or uncaring staff. A disappointment in a beautiful setting.
  • Nice wines and the kangaroo feeding experience was a hit with the kids!
  • Brought the kids along and they got to feed the kangaroos on site (call to check what time they are feeding). Beautiful surroundings and a playground for the kids to run around on, plus kids meals, makes this a great choice for young families to relax and unwin(e)d. We enjoyed a sharing platter and a nice glass or two of the great selection of wines. Edit: ended up coming back the next day with another family and had the rib-eye for lunch with a glass of the "pilot's view", it was fantastic.
