  • I have skied at Lake Mountain for over 35 years & always enjoy going there. It has been wonderful to watch the regrowth & rebuilding since the 2009 bushfires. LM has 30 km plus of beginner, & intermed...  read more »

  • Great place for a weekend getaway!! Toboggan ride well worth for kids to spend whole day, best if you have snow gears. Option to hire toboggans and gears at rental location which is closer to the ride. The journey to mountain and back is awesome. Well priced restaurant and cafes. Altogether a great experience. Less mobile connectivity in the area will add up more fun ;)
  • Wonderful place in Nature , Unfortunately the public is being ripped off badly with the $56 entry fee to one of our nations National Parks. The environment has not changed in many years and it is a great place for new families to start snow trips . I do hope they can afford it. Place= wonderful Fee = Way overpriced for the facilities provided
  • With three toboggan slopes, Lake Mountain offers the most fun you can have during a Melbourne winter without skiing. All gear can be hired on the mountain from toboggans to waterproof clothing. There is also a bar and bistro at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort for lunch. In summer substitute tobogganing and snow fights for trekking through the forest.
  • Went up in early June, so only man-made snow. Still lots of fun, children and adults alike. I understand from the staff that snowfall the heaviest during July/August period. You can rent all the snow gears up there.
  • Fantastic! Thanks to the team in the resort we had a great day out with the family and enjoyed the beautiful setting. And the burgers at the cafe were amazing. The team certainly went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable, thanks.
