We arrived before the restaurant opened at 545 pm on Saturday evening. They opened the door and alowed us to buy 3 bottles of wine. It was fully booked. So we came back on Sunday afternoon for lunch. ... read more »
The Riesling was delicious, venue superb and company amazing. Met friends from Malaysia for lunch and it was an amazing time we had together. Very courteous staff who were very helpful with ideas. A definite place to revisit when I come back.
Situated conveniently right next to Voyager Estate, its not that much of a stretch to visit this warm and inviting venue. Once you enter you can either taste wines, or venture a little further and enjoy a meal. We had just eaten, so we tasted a few wines, taking away a wonderful 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon.
We found this estate to be a bit over-hyped. We went for wine tasting and lunch. The woman doing our tasting was a bit unpleasant, and the wines were relatively average. If you buy a bottle, they don't let you have it with lunch, you have to pay for a separate bottle with your lunch at a 50% higher price (is that normal in AU?) For lunch, the duck was outstanding, the oysters good, and the scallops nice, if a bit dry.
Celler door located in a historical building. The Art series wines are on a class of its own! Awesome!
Great and profesional
