Gnarabup Beach, Margaret River

(4.6/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
A large reef breaks up the ocean's swell before it gets close to Gnarabup Beach, so the waters are calm and easy on the shore. However, surfers seek out these swells that carry them back towards the beach, then they can swim out again for another round. Whales migrate through the waters off the coast, and if you're lucky you may catch sight of them coming up for air on their way to their seasonal feeding waters in Antarctica. Work out when and for how long to visit Gnarabup Beach and other Margaret River attractions using our handy Margaret River travel itinerary planner.
