  • We were recommended to this place by the cashier at one of the wineries we visited. The guys wanted to taste the beer, and they did at AUD16 for 6 different types of beers. The beers were interesting....  more »
  • We had lunch here, fish and chips @$25.00. Very nice and very large portions. We could have shared 1. We were there on a Monday so it wasn't too busy. Sat outside and admired the view. Staff friendly ...  more »
  • All ages venue, music, plenty of drinks to choose from, and cider as well! Great open plan venue, clean, and kid friendly! Get on down here whilst in the region for a few drinks, embrace the sunshine ...  more »

  • This place is great! I am still sitting at the Cheeky Monkey as I write this and what I am seeing is an amazing atmosphere, a stunning lake and vinyard setting, a wonderful relaxed vibe, delicious looking food flying swiftly out to appreciative patrons and I have just finished one of the best burgers I have ever had. The food is fantastic with some creative twists on pub favorites and also some original menu options to keep things interesting. The beer is not necessarily to my taste but that is just a matter of opinion and I can tell from the taste paddle that this is some expertly crafted stuff that is sure to get the true beer connoisseur salivating. I thoroughly enjoyed the ciders though! Would recommend to absolutely anyone! Thanks Cheeky Monkey!
  • The only reason we came back was for the spicy chicken wings that we had last year - a rich, sticky, spicy tower of goodness... but they weren't on the menu. Instead they have been replaced with a crumbed, fried 'chicken ribs' dish which was flavourless, floury and had very little meat. We have since learnt that some people were complaining the spicy wings were too spicy... how ridiculous. The kitchen obviously listened which is a real travesty. The beer is below average, as is the cider which was flat and bland. Wine not great either (and they'd run out of Chardonnay... but they're attached to a winery - go figure). There were two guys playing music, if you could call it that - the best part was when they had a break and stopped playing. 8 months ago I would have given 5 stars for the wings alone. Now I feel even 1 star is generous. We won't be back until you #bringbackthewings
  • Food is offered at premium prices, but unfortunately falls short of being good enough to distract you from the cost. Our 3 mains were ordered at the same time but arrived spread out over a 45 minutes period, which would have been fine if our goal was to take turns watching each other eat. Drinks we're priced fairly and the wait in line for a beer at lunch time was refreshingly a fraction of the time taken in line to order food. With so many similar venues within a few kilometres it would take some convincing to lure me back for a second time.
  • Beautiful place,we ordered the Braised RIBS ,it was really good with source, and big that hard to finish by yourself, but not perfect because the inside meat still dry and no favor in it, so only 4 stars I can give
  • Great ambience and loved the sauce. Great place for young kids with their nice playarea with slides.
