  • We had a lovely time tasting the wines at Cape Mentelle. Our wine assistant, Rachel, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere was nice and the wines excellent. Well worth a visit ...  more »
  • This winery has been going for about 40 years. The passion shines through. Excellent quality wines. Interesting buildings.
  • We really enjoued our tasting at Cape Mentelle. It is beautiful and the wine simply world class. I wouldn't call it cheap but it is certainly somewhere not to miss if you're doing wineries in the area...  more »

  • Staff at the cellar door were very professional & seemed to know what they were talking about. Atmosphere was a little sterile. A few reasonable tasting wines, but quite pricey.
  • Lovely little winery, very informative staff, who told us about the types of grapes which grow in this region. Tasted a few wines, surprised that the Shiraz from Margaret River is a lot lighter than other regions in Australia. Loved the 2015 Sauvignon Blanc Semillion, and the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon. Very close to Margaret River township.
  • Excellent Australian wine. Mo√ęt-Hennessy.
  • Average wine and even more average service. Lovely venue which was let down by a middle aged women in the cellar door who was irritated with us for either being there or for having to work a Saturday. Short one word answers when asked questions was then backed up with 'are you going to by anything' after my father bought a bottle, which I felt he felt compelled to do. Won't be going back, not to even watch a movie.
  • Whilst not the best wines in Margaret, the zinfandel is the best wine they do, better than the much touted cabernet sauvignon. The movie night is to be experienced. More like movie for snobs, this is an eloquent way to enjoy a movie, no riff raff, no bogans, just a relaxing evening of fine wine and food. Excellent.
