Seppeltsfield Road Distillers Reviews
Always willing to try something new in the Barossa, and it was a nice change to have a gin tasting over wine. Loved the setting, very unique set up, that gave a very relax feel. Enjoyed my gin and... more »
A good gin flight tasting. The resident dog kept barking at people which is ok for me but if you were scared of dogs it would make you turn around and leave. The gin taste is different for all of us..... more »
Tasty gin. We had the paddle experience, which was fun. No discount towards a purchase though. We loved the little glasses but they were not available to purchase unfortunately (missed business... more »
Great setting and very nice, clean tasting gins. Staff knowledgeable about their products, very friendly and attentive. We did the gin flight, staff gave clear direction on the best way to enjoy the flight. Also pet friendly. We travel with a small dog so appreciated being able to have him in the cool on a hot day. Thank you for a lovely experience 😊.
This was a lovely surprise to come across on way back from Seppeltsfield Road Distillers. They are a boutique Gin distillery that is relatively new (only been in this location for a few months). Did the gin tasting and enjoyed the experience. Even though we had 2 younger kids with us (a 9 yr old and 11 yr old), it was still good as there were places they could chill out and relax as well. Would definitely do a return visit.
Tasting paddle was great. House gin was a stand out for me
A group of us came across this beautiful place, and so glad we did. With some serious gin drinkers amongst us, we tasted, we talked, we tasted, we bought. Bec was awesome, and it was lovely talking with Nicole and learning how this place came about. We did visit the second week they were open in Sept
Very cool building made out of several shipping containers. My partner had a gin flight and enjoyed all the gin, especially the house. The allsorts gin was interesting as well. I had a drink called the Barossa Bridesmaid. It was okay but I really didn't enjoy the egg whites and didn't think it needed it. My three star review is because of the staff. There were way too many people working on a Sunday afternoon--more staff than customers--and yet very few staff members were attentive. There was opportunity for us to buy additional drinks but no one asked what we thought of the first or if we wanted more so we left. Additionally, all but one staff person struggled with cocktail making. It was a group effort to mix drinks and only one person knew how to use a shaker. I'm providing this feedback as this is a new place and I'm hoping the owners or managers can provide additional training on drink making, product knowledge, and customer service so this place can be a success long term.
