Maleny Dairies, Maleny
Categories: Farms, Tourist Spots
Get back to the land at Maleny Dairies. Take a tour of this family-owned operation to learn how it makes milk and other dairy products. Pet baby calves, learn about the history of the farm, watch as staff milk cows, and observe processing and bottling in the factory. A kiosk on site sells ice cream, yogurt, and milkshakes. You can cook up your own food on the farm's barbecues if you want to enjoy a picnic. Bring a cooler with you if you want to carry products off the site for later consumption. Take a look at our Maleny itinerary builder to schedule your visit to Maleny Dairies and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

Maleny Dairies provides an interesting tour experience for all ages. The 2:30 pm tour is a good bet as it includes watching the cows being milked.

Every week after finished working volunteer at Sunshine FM I always pull over and get the Guernsey milk and my favorite's chocolate milk. I just discovered it's convenient. Choose Maleny milk as a part of my daily activity.
I was very saddened to learn a few facts recently about the dairy industry. I didn't know that cows don't produce milk unless they've given birth to a calf (like humans) and that the calf (especially if male) is taken away from its mother and sent to the slaughterhouse as it is of no further use. Female calves will ultimately follow in their mother's footsteps and become a milker! We don't need milk to survive! It's food for calves, not humans!
We went one afternoon and we're the only ones there so we got a private tour. The lady was very helpful and very informative. Would recommend to all. We love cows.
They forget to tell you the little calves get killed so you can drink their mothers milk. . When mother cow has been impregnated so many times she is exhausted, she is killed too. Love cows? Then don't be a part of this cruel industry.that hides the horrible truth.
Great tour, fantastic products, well worth a visit!
