  • We really enjoyed the walk. The koalas along the way were magical. I really don't like seeing reviews from people who miss seeing the wildlife. It takes calm and patience and perserverence to see...

  • 5 stars for history, views and koalas! Easy walk. Parking isn’t great but look for the sign on the right hand side of the road heading towards Horseshoe Bay and you’ll be on your way.
  • Easy to walk with beautiful view on top. Sometime our friend out of the tree to greeting us.
  • Beautiful walk in Maggie! 300 degrees view of the island and sea. We saw several koalas in the tracks as well.
  • Excellent and budget friendly plan if you love being outdoors and sweating a bit. The walking path is kept clean and well marked all the way around, the hike is not too demanding and the ruins of the WW2 forts are quite a treat for history nerds (guilty). Signs with photos and quotes from the protagonists and daily scenes make it really educational. On top of this, the walk is a great opportunity to enjoy 300 degrees views of the sea from the top, and more importantly, of koalas dozing on tree branches.
  • Good hiking trail, lots to look at, lot of history. Even water available half way along. Allow at least two hours. Even kids can do it. Early morning best as can get quite hot.
