  • This national park is a great place to escape from all the hectic from the city. It was very surprising for me to find a place like that in such a big city. You feel really remote in there. It's great...  more »
  • We were walking around and honestly we didn't find anything particular. Some Wild Turkey and workmates who walk on my lunch break.

  • Admission $8. Little parking, or far from water. No paths to walk, all went on the road. The Park is not large, and almost all under the open Sun. Came in February to hide from the heat, it was + 46 in the Woods! Parking account became black and the return, in what was the Sun! Beautiful spots overlooking the water in the shadow of no. Sat down under a tree, in the end for me as many spiders, attacked before that never never happened. Of organized leisure there are benches, but as ojunam informed them all passed for picnics. Total wasted spent $8. Here is an unforgettable experience from a chic Davidson park, also pay parking, but such species and all for people and go on the tracks near the water!

  • I ride through this park a couple of times a week to commute to and from work. Nice quiet road which often gets cleaned. Some days get to see some wildlife like kookaburras, owls, bush turkeys, lizards and once even a wallabie was skipping in front of my bicycle. Park has great BBQ areas which can be reserved for groups.
  • Cosy place with lots of areas for a nature picnic along the water's edge. Playground for children and an information area run by National Parks. Canoe and Cycle Boats available for hire. Nice place to bring your family.
  • I will never not love spending time here. I really enjoyed my work on the road through the park. There was always something beautiful to look at and the cyclists aren't too cranky.
  • Very long park with lots of things to do. There are walking trails and road for bikes (shared with cars). You can have a picnic in multiple picnic and BBQ areas. Hire of the boats is available, so you can go along the river, which is very nice! This is a very beautiful place and good park for recreation. Be aware that this areas is hidden in between hills and next to water, so sometimes it can be chilly.
  • Lane Cove National Park is littered with brilliant day walks and plenty of adventures and beautiful features. If you're looking for an extra magical experience, head out for a walk one or two days after a big downpour - all the creeks and rivers are bursting with life and the birds are always out in numbers.
