  • Great place to visit and good exercise walking up to the top of Mount Napier and a beautiful view to top it off.
  • Lovely place, enjoyed the scenery
  • Great adventure for exploring
  • Nice work for a beginner
  • Sorry Julie but it ain't a short walk. It's about 1.5 km from carpark to summit. Allow 20-25mins each way (so about 1hr return). Steep and rocky in sections. Wear good footwear and it can be windy on top so take some warm clothing. It's definitely worth it for the view. I believe it has a stand or two of remnant snow gums. So worth seeing whilst they're still around. Nice plaque on top from 1910's honoring major Mitchell.
