  • This was our first visit to Hentley Wines and we were very impressed with Vicky's knowledge of the wines. She took us on a journey from sparkling, through whites and finishing with reds. We walked awa...  read more »
  • Just driving past early and decided to drop in for a wine tasting. Lovely warm seat at the bar was waiting in a cold rainy day. We sat and were treated to some fine wines and a great wealth of knowled...  read more »

  • "" Discovery Menu and matching wines is a Barossa must do"" Tip "Booked early so not disappointed" This Restaurant is amazing, Have dined there myself. Barossa Taxis always recommends to our customers who book with us. The huge amount of customers we drive to Hentley Farm tell the drivers on the way home that the food and service was awesome. People love the old buildings and their trip to the cellar door where they enjoy great wines and talk with knowledgeable staff. Relax near the lovely fireplace on a cold winter day .
  • Barossa & Light Cab Service, Barossa's longest serving cab/taxis service, serving locals and tourists since 2006, rate Hentley Farm restaurant and the cellar door 5 out of 5 stars. We see Head Chef Lachlan Colwill as a regional and South Australian superstar that has helped launch Hentley Farm onto a national and international stage. Hentley Farms awards include some of the following: Consecutive “Best Restaurant in a Winery” category at the coveted SA Restaurant & Catering Awards, 2014 & 2015. Awarded four forks in The Advertiser Food Guide 2013, 2014, & 2015. Best Regional Restaurant in the 2013, 2014, & 2015 Advertiser Food Awards. Barossa & Light Cab Service, have done, and recommend, the "Discovery Menu" with matching wines for lunch or dinner. And from the cellar door, we love the Hentley Farm Clos Otto Shiraz (in 2016 awarded the Barossa Trust Mark), however, we also do consider "The Beauty" & "The Beast" the ultimate wine combination. Hentley Farm is a "must do" Barossa dinning experience, and an awesome choice for your Barossa dinning destination! Highly recommended.
  • This is one of my favourite restaurants. It is memorable to eat here. i have visited 3 times and had the degustation menu each time. The food and wine is divine and you are always happily excited for the next course. The service is impeccable and the staff are so informative and serve you perfectly, you will never have to ask for your wine to be topped up, everything works in sinc. It is an absolute pleasure to dine here.
  • This is quite simply the most amazing food experience. That it is at a spectacular winery adds to the moment. My favourite dish form the 7 course (10 with snacks) degustation was the sausage mince covered with sashimi cod - I'm not joking. It was amazing.
  • Where do I begin? I has the pleasure of dining with a group of my closest friend there recently, and five stars simply isn't enough. This oasis is an absolute gem, one wouldn't receive better service from well informed staff anywhere in the World. The food was beyond belief, and having the chef come to the table before each course, explaining what we were about to eat, and how they gathered the ingredients was a real treat. The wines were paired perfectly ofcourse, and as I indicated earlier your waiting staff's knowledge of the wines and the food was staggering. Thank you so much for a life-long great memeory. Cheers Jeanne - Adelaide
