Great trip down memory lane for a lot of people, and children will learn a lot about local history. All sorts of buildings to look around in, plus a resident kangaroo! We had a fabulous couple of hour... more »
Some really interesting pioneering history. Worth a look if in the area. Would allow 2hrs for a good look.
We loved this place. If you love Australian history and old buildings you will too. It even has its own resident kangaroo. If you are in the area make sure you check this out. It even has some old home made play equipment which the kids loved.
Enjoyed another visit to The Village... so much to see. The staff and volunteers should be commended on such a neat and nostalgic streetscape. There's always something to discover that intrigues and inspires. My little boy loves the Village pets and the old style mixed lollies in the shop!
a bit run down but worth a look and beware staff very child unfriendly
