  • Decided to try the lastest offerings at Gartlemens as we do most years. The Petite Verdot is one of our favorites. But the whole range has something for everyone. Commendable Rose and excellent Shiraz...  more »

  • Excellent staff and worthy delicious brunch and wine.
  • If your going to run a winery the don't have 2 crazy old ladies dishing out the wine. What they knew about wine i knew about quantum physics, not very much. The wine list don't tell you much about the wine except spurious lines such as if you were having a serious conversation then this would be the wine to have. If your going to have a cellar door then at least make an effort and know about the wine. Overall i left as the wine were too young, too cheap tasting and Overall not enjoyable at all. The food in the cafe is nice but the wine is comparable to goon.
  • Very welcoming and some fantastic reds!
  • We went here for breakfast. It was fathers day, but there were plenty of stuff, we had no problem getting a table without a booking and there were three in the kitchen. The cafe is great - has a nice large deck over a sizeable pond with fountain. Grounds are green, scattered with cool sculptures. I started with a Chai Latte which was delicious. My partner ordered a skim cappuccino but received a skim flat white. It tasted good enough. We had to ask three times to get water for the table. We both ordered the big breakfast. We asked for no mushrooms and to add avocado. We both received avocado, along with mushrooms though. There were homemade hash browns, but they were stiff and overcooked. On both plated one of the poached eggs was overcooked. One of the pieces of sourdough was burnt, they placed the burnt side down on the plate instead of just replacing it. The bacon was cooked excellently. After breakfast we did some wine tasting. The cellar door staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly and their range is wide and tasty. Every wine I tasted I sincerely enjoyed and I am confident that their range would suit anyone wanted to taste some lovely wines. Strongly recommend their wines.
  • Well priced, good wine. Nice grounds with picnic area. Very friendly owners.
