Watch water cascade over a 30 m (98 ft) drop, one of the highest drops in the Otways at Erskine Falls. Climb the stone and timber steps to access two viewing platforms. From here, you can photograph the falls from the front. The path to the lower platform has around 300 steps straight up from the base of the falls; there are rest areas along the way. • A few steps down to the falls, take your time going back to carpark. A short steep drive down to the fall so be careful with a small car if it is overloaded
  • It's a little way out of town (maybe ten or twelve kms) but it's nice countryside and the waterfall will give you the excuse to get some use from your camera. Be aware that it's quite a stretch gettin...  read more »
  • Probably one of the easiest walks down and back up to a waterfall and well worth a visit. Only a 10 or 15 minute drive out of Lorne.
  • Great place. Alot of stairs fun going down but need to take it easy coming back up.
  • This is a lovely location. Breath taking views and an adventurous trail along the river. If you are athletic I highly recommend trekking along the steam for dinner distance. If you are not there is an accessible stairway down to the waterfall and another longer staircase to the base of the waterfall. Great for a day trip or a stopover on the way along the great ocean rd.
  • Short walk from the carpark to wonderful views of the waterfall. Very steep. Best viewed after rainfall.
  • Was great. Not as big as some other waterfalls but the path was well maintained and tour busses cannot access so it was clean and not over crowded.
  • The tallest waterfalls of the Otway Range, Just beautiful, and the walk all the way along the creek back to Lorne is simply sensational though it's not for the beginner a great hike..
