Ever wonder what it’s like to be a pioneer or a stockman, looking after the livestock in remote Australia? Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre proudly displays objects and images from the bygone days, honoring the greatest and bravest explorers and Aborigines from the outback. Navigate through the galleries to understand why the founder and a former stockman himself, Hugh Sawrey, wanted to create a tribute to the unsung heroes and pioneering spirit. Admire the building from outside, and its stunning design from timber, stone and corrugated iron, reminiscent of the outback. Walk next door to visit a sandstone cottage complete with hand-edged timber, which is now an information center and a library. • lots of australian outback stockman history here - so much we need to earn about to learn about the west. worth getting the second day entry stamp
  • Fantastic display of an era that should not be forgotten. Great cafe to break up the visit. An iconic tourist destination
  • Loved it! Did the museum, dinner and show. The dinner was delicious and the show was entertaining. The atmosphere was great, with a talented cowboy singing with his guitar while having dinner. Finishing his gig with a personalized rendition of waltzing matilda. Pass allows you to go back a second day to see the museum which is great as there is lots to see. Highly recommended.
  • We went there with our kids to see the morning Outback Stockman's Show and also to look through the centre. It was a great way to spend part of the day. We learnt a lot and the kids enjoyed themselves too!
  • Probably up there with the worst. Not enough info on displays mostly geared towards school groups CX 13year olds definitely not for the thinking person.
  • Excellent place to see abd very friendly staff
  • Good Aboriginal display. Informative and interactive.
