  • We couldn't see the value of the high price charged to enter the museum bottle house. So we walked around the outside and checked things out. Interesting but entry could be around $10 cheaper.  more »
  • Cute bottle house but ingenius when wood is needed for the mine supports. Shame it was not open, so could only look around. Tourist season hadn't started yet.  more »
  • Still run by one of the original builders, worth taking the time to view it & see all the collectables and hear his story. A true Gentleman.  more »

  • Lots of interesting things to see here. Plenty of history of Lighting Ridge and early Australian bush life. Well worth looking at.
  • Lots of fun, go in and have the tour, worth the stop and experance
  • The gentleman who owns the bottle house was a welth of knowledge, pleasent and could answer any questions about Lightning Ridge and beyond, he had some amising things to look at I was free to take as many photos as I wanted and all for $15.00

There are so many sureal things about Lightning Ridge, and this is one of the best. After shopping around for jewelry and souvenirs, we also came back here. Best prices in town.
  • Very interesting but not sure if the $10 was worth it, don't get me wrong but per person is a little steep for what you get
