  • The rain was off and on all night, this morning it's over cast and dreary, perfect conditions for a trek up in the Perth Hills. I arrive at 1000, the car park almost chokka. But in choosing the loop t...  more »

  • Very good place for walking. Beautiful look out points. Fantastic view from the hills. There are public toilets at entrance and some sit out places for picnic.
  • "Beautiful Outdoor Adventure Trail up to The Falls" This short hike up to the Falls has always been one of Perth's favourite short trails. Fantastic natural scenery, fairly easy track into this area, with several hiking trails around to cater for various levels of fitness. Great place to take young kids to show them what a natural waterfall really is. Very quiet place to come to just to stop and think, when it's not too busy! by Andrew & Jenny
  • Only a short drive out of Perth lies the Lesmurdie falls. There are several tracks from novice to more experienced. The view from the top is spectacular and if it is warm enough and you are game you can jump in the pool at the top of the falls.
  • Try to climb from the Lion lookout ,you will have nice experience, and it's short way to go back upper carpark
  • Best time to visit is around fall and winter where you can see it's full glory. If you decide to start at the top of the hill there's going to be a 15-20 minutes of trekking down and up the hill, trails are marked but make sure you take a snap of the trail map just in case you get lost.
