  • Palace Norton Street Cinema is one of the best. Really well designed for disabled people, comfortable cinema seating, clean toilets and the cafe is very good too. Cannot find fault with this place and...  more »
  • It feels special as soon as you climb the stairs to the cinema. Lovely atmosphere, live music and great choice of food and drink!  more »
  • This place is simply brilliant. We never go to any other movie theatre. It's gold class at normal prices. My 9 year old picked this over a large chain with adjoining arcade....speaks for itself. Fanta...  more »

  • The Palace is a classy movie theatre. You can become a member for discounts and benefits. I am a member. Upgraded seating, extra attention to cleaning. Sound and protection are good. Well worth a look
  • As someone who has loved visiting The Palace on a regular basis over at least the last decade, I am disappointed to be having to write this review. Things seem to have changed and judging by my experience last night, standards have slipped. Firstly, the priority bar line, previously enjoyed by those of us who book online and retrieve our tickets from the self serve machine, no longer exists. Although with tickets in hand, we still had to join the very long single queue to order from the bar. What's the point of online booking if you still have to queue up? Although only 6pm on a Saturday night, the advertised special salted caramel chocolate tops had run out, and we had to wait about 10 minutes for even a vanilla chop top to be retrieved from storage, obviously some distance away. Riesling was also unavailable, and there are no bar discounts for members. To top it off, cinema 7 was filthy, with rubbish on the floor and fluid and rubbish on my drink table. The cinema had obviously not been cleaned between screenings. We always enjoy the selection of movies shown at The Palace and hope to continue to do so. I hope that last night's experience was an aboration and if so, I will remove this review. If not, the Denny will be our cinema of choice in future.
  • I am sitting in cinema 6. My judgement is that 1/4 of all seats in here cause neck pain, headache and eye strain during the movie experience due to the appalling design. Save your money and wait til it's out online.
  • Best cinema in the inner west, wine list is A+, olive oil popcorn, hand made choc tops just to touch on the bar. All the latest films plus all the best indie, arthouse and foreign movies. Cheap parking underneath.
  • Such a cosy cinema. They even serve pasta and coffee here. Great variety of films from blockbuster to independent and world movies. Can't wait to go back.
