  • At Mintaro there is a "Lolly shop" advertised- don't be fooled like we were- it is merely a b and b, which is exactly what you feel like saying when you discover that, too. There is, strangely enough at nearby cnr of Leasingham and Blocks rd, VineArt Studios, a "wolly shop" as my "grandies" call it. And very nice lollies too. But the best thing is the Art. I met Carolyn and her gorgeous daughter ( sorry I forgot yr name!), and got to see several outstanding pieces of Art by Carolyn's husband Andrew. Oh Amazing! Rush there to have a look.. nothing deadly dull here. If you like morbid boring still life piccies stay away- these are guaranteed to cheer you up. Andrew got best in Exhibition at the Clare Art show, 2015- quite an achievement given the stiff local competition. And for those of you more local, they have an art group who meet at the gallery, if you would like to join. Best of all they have just hatched out some darling lil chicks, maybe if you are very nice they may show them to you! Wonderful fun, lovely ppl.
  • Quirky and unique in the heart of the Clare Valley
