  • Great for adults and children of all ages. Was rather interesting to see and learn about all the different animals. Highly recommend this place to anyone. The Dinos were so life like.
  • we enjoyed the afternoon here. We had the place almost to ourselves. Staff where great and being able to spend time looking at the animals.
  • Easily the most dismal zoo experience I've ever had. The animals were not well looked after, in bland cages and featureless exhibits. Missing animals replaced with plastic replicas!! Very expensive fo...  more »

  • We visited Tasmania Zoo on Sunday 5th November 2016 and had a fabulous day,the highlight was watching the Tasmanian Devil's being fed. There were a great deal of animals and birds to see,the place was easy to get around, all in all a great place to visit especially if you have children, there are enough animals and birds to keep them enthralled ,kids will love the Meerkats, very cute.
  • Took the family to Tasmania zoo thinking there would only be a few animals there. My family and I were blown away by the different animals they had and how fun and interactive the Zoo was. Also very affordable. We will definitely be going there again.
  • Great day, amazing animals and a great experience. Lovely range of animals and the talking cocktail, although there was a downer; when I've taken one of my disabled clients that was in a wheelchair I was charged 1 standard fee and I (as their carer) got in free due to my clients needing me at all times. I took a different client in which I showed the companion card, ect to be told that they didn't accept those. My client today also needed me at all times, even though she wasn't wheelchair confined. I felt as though they were discriminating against my client because she didn't appear to be disabled. All in all, my client had a great day out and enjoyed herself very much dispite this unfortunate event.
  • Private zoo in northern Tasmania. 'Animal experiences' are available for purchase upon entry allowing you to get up close with certain animals. Cafe located on site.
  • More than i could ever expect! It was a wonderful experience, great seeing the wild mix of animals from gators to penguins to dinosaurs to the ever cute Tassie Devil. These guys do an amazing job and need our support. Make sure to put this one on your list!
