A heritage-listed site in the downtown area, National Trust Old Umbrella Shop is one of the last surviving early 20th-century stores in all of Tasmania. Once operated by three generations of the Shott family, this store now features permanent historical displays and sells umbrella souvenirs, most of which are made on the premises. At this location you can also stop by a convenient visitor center, providing tourists with information about numerous other attractions in and around the city.
