  • It showcases many things from designers predominantly made from wood. Many household utensils and furniture. They are for sale as well but is very very expensive. 
  • Over the period of its existence the design centre has displayed work of consistently high quality, both in exhibitions and in the work for sale, and this visit was no exception. As usual we did not l...  more »
  • There weren't many pieces on display but there were some very interesting and creative pieces made of various Tasmanian woods. It was well worth a visit.

  • Visit the right wing before the left. The former let's you see what creativity is doing to wood; the latter is the shop
  • Interesting displays and gift shop. Only 6 dollar entry fee
  • Some great design and interesting furniture. Certainly worth a visit!
