  • Looking for something to do with kids that's cheap, then go here! Nothing better than exploring nature at its finest. Easily spend a few hours here with the family, friends enjoying a picnic lunch.
  • Animals can get quite close which is great for viewing and kids love it. Easy walking trail and aveytime we go it's never too busy! Small kids are kept entertained with lots to see and explore.
  • Lovely place to visit with easy walks through animal enclosures, great picnic areas and good wildlife. You can do a short walk or long walk.
  • Pretty cool park where you can check if you can jump as high or as far as kangaroos. The open grassy woodlands and wetlands of the volcanic Western Plains make a pleasant walk. The animals are awesome too but I am unsure why they have to be kept in such a small enclosures. Can't kangaroos and wallabies be together in connected enclosures to make them bigger? They had no space to jump. If it was not free it would be less than 4 stars. Open up the I closures and get animals connected with each other! For lunch pack a picnic and make use of one of the many designated BBQ and picnic areas in the You Yangs or Serendip Sanctuary.
  • Great place to visit to see some rarer birds. The captive breeding collection is quite good and the local and migratory birds that visit can be abundant especially after good rains. There are picnic facilities with tables, electric BBQs and toilets near car park at entrance. Can do some bush walking in the larger Sanctuary area to the rear.
  • One of the hidden gems in Victoria. You can see kangaroos, lots of birds, have a picknic - and it is free!
  • It's an amazing finding! This place is so quite and so wild that you won't realize that you are still in urban area. The wild nature, so many rare kinds of bird and various type of marsupials are the key reasons that you must give it ago. also, it's free of charge. Will definitely go back.
  • Perfect place to walk around with family and friends. It's FREE!
