  • An exceptional museum dedicated to Australian History. The short video introduction to the Catalina Lake Boga depot is excellent. Australian history that needs to be told to our children.
  • This display explains the very important role that Catalinas and Lake Boga played during the Second World War. The display and staff provide a memorable experience.
  • Don't miss this exceptional museum, even if your are not big on military history and war. This museum, focusses on the social, as much as the military side of a unique facility built to safe guard the...  read more »
  • Great little treasure of information. Many photos, extracts, dive findings and trinkets are available for viewing. There is a little movie they run, a flight simulator on the computer. These are a little run down, but a great effort. Dick and lions volunteer gave us a little tour, and he was approachable and knowledgeable and able to answer questions.
  • This place tells part of the untold history or Australia's WW2 history. The kids loved it, I loved it. Well worth the visit.
  • Amazing experience and it makes you proud of the nations war effort and to be Australian
  • GREAT place! This museum is absolutely fantastic, see the PBY Catalina along with other exhibits on display. Please check out the large flight board that I made when the Museum first started about 17 years ago. I've visited a few times since, but the last time was to do a virtual business tour of the museum. You can check that out in this listing where it says "See Inside." The time that I spent there allowed me to see what they have to offer. Such an impressive array of exhibits; an obliging and knowledgeable staff as well.
  • A great asset to Victoria and Australia. Amazing history and friendly people. Enjoyed the garden surrounds and the BBQ area. All the best, Graeme Broderick
