  • Macadamia city! I started off with a huge stack of pancakes smothered in passionfruit sauce then moved onto the gift shop buying lots of nuts and nut products and some Aussie souvenirs too. I then mad...  more »

  • This place is fantastic! Staff were friendly, activities are constant and the kids had an absolute ball. We have been living in the Byron Shire for 2 years and went to the Macadamia Castle for our first time on Sunday for our daughter's 5th birthday. I can't believe we haven't been before! Great value for money, and a fantastic spot for the kids and family. I just hope the moving of the highway doesn't cause the place too much disruption.
  • Fantastic day out for young children. Frequent activities (every 15 mins) like reptile talks, bird shows, feeding baby animals and an hourly train ride. Fully kitchened cafe for coffee and breakfast/brunch and mini golf!
  • WOW......just WOW! Great food, and great fun! Excellent service from the staff, and reasonably priced for the travelling public. Not on the highway anymore, with a 5 Km side trip to get to it, BUT well worth the time to eat great food and rest up! Look for the turn off to Lennox Head from the M1.
  • Funny old place that brings together tacky theme park chic with some good environmental messages. We patted goats, stroked baby chickens, cuddled rabbits, played mini golf and... yes ate macadamias. I don't understand what the overarching theme is, but it was a bit of fun.
  • My pass was expired for only 1 day (1 DAY ONLY) after having a pass for the last 3 years. And she doesn't let me in with my 2 kids who start crying in the front of her (they like the ride in the train...) and she just walked away and doesn't even say goodbye. It was 3.30pm they closed at 5pm... Thank you so much. We won't make any ads for you anymore. And that's the last time you saw us...
