  • The wine does the talking here, the reputation speaks for itself! The winery itself has such an unassuming entry and the cellar door is cosy with only enough room for a handful of people. The atmosphe...  more »
  • Everything is simply wonderful. You are made to feel so welcome and you taste some divine wines and the customer service is terrific.

  • Very tasty. I bought Shiraz Cabernet Malvern (1984) in DEC 1998, and drank it today (4th NOV 2016). It made me remember all nice memories in Australia (from Japan ).
  • Barossa & Light Cab Service love Henschke Wines because in our view this is one of the flagship wineries and some of the best wine that South Australia, if not Australia, has to offer. These are the big dark traditional reds that the Barossa is known for, but there is no bite. Some of the wines here are rated very highly on the Australian Classification of Wine Chart, and with VIP tours available this is a destination that all wine loves must experience. Cellar door staff know their product well, and are very friendly. Barossa & Light Cab Service love bringing people to Henschke Wines on wine tour. Get in quick here at 9am on a Saturday morning, if you are planning a tasting 9-12 Saturday as this is a very popular spot.
  • One of the better wineries in the Barossa region (at a minimum, we were directed to them by every other winery). Staff at their cellar door was helpful in explaining their wines.
  • My friends and I loved our visit to Henschke. Some of the best wine Australia has to offer. A family run business that is steeped in history that allows you to feel apart of its history. The family are lovely and still so involved in the day to day operations. Cellar door staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the brand. It is always good to hear that staff have been with a company for a long time. Cutest dog as well. Highly recommend visit!
  • Some of the best wine in Australia (especially the higher end of the range). Cellar door staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Lotti is a big bark dog but none of the bite :)
