  • We travel around a lot and hang out in lots of Libraries. Katoomba is our favourite ! It's not just because is is large and light with beautiful views and lovely windows to gaze out of. Or because it has great ease of internet use, a wonder kids area, nice and clean, well set out shelves and a lovely lounge area to read the papers and magazines. It's also to do with the great "feeling" this library has which, I am sure, has lots to do with the super staff.
  • Great place to start a trip at the blue mountians
  • The best hot chocolate we have ever had! On oat milk! :)
  • Amazing new facility with changing exhibitions and a permanent immersive World Heritage Exhibition room with interactive photography, video and information. There's a cafĂ© inside and the adjoining new library is a fantastic place to hang out with amazing views over the Blue Mountains escarpment. The building also has a number of great sustainable features including a roof garden and solar power.
  • Gorgeous views. Lovely cafe with really tasty sandwiches, snacks, coffee and drinks. Engaging, educational exhibitions and workshops. And a fantastic library. What more could you ask for. Go there. It is well worth it.
