  • This area is so lovely and peaceful. The walk to the lookout is a little challenging but so worth the effort. Boat cruises are great with local guides exchanging stories.  more »
  • The guide, Jamie, on this trip was absolutely superb. Understated but very knowledgeable, and with a deep feeling for his culture, and the ability to share that in an intimate way. He left us feeling ...  more »

  • Such a peaceful and spiritual environment, it's lovely. There is excellent camp facilities there, including a kiosk that does main meals at night. The toilets/showers were clean (although there isn't much room to put your things) and the camp grounds well presented. There are walking trails you can do as well as tour operators in the river and the skies. Lots to see and do. It is a fair distance out of town though.
  • Pleasant quiet area beautiful scenery. Planned to stay a few days, the park is well laid out and is very pleasant in its surroundings, however the park amenities are the dirtiest unmaintained facilities that I have ever seen, toilets full and almost spilling sewerage over the top, showers that look as if they were forgotten in the cleaning and maintenance roster for months, well established cobweb, more mud than the local creek Shame on the management of this place. I left after one day and definitely will not be back
  • Beautiful park staff very helpful its been in good hands well done
  • Went on the dawn river cruise after finding that all the other available cruises were booked out. This was a great decision in the end - my group comprised of less than a dozen adults - and we all had the advantage of our own seats and plenty of space on board. I saw one of the booked out boats later in the day - and the people were crammed on. Better the dawn cruise if you want room to breathe. The tour itself is spectacular, the guide / driver is knowledgeable and more than willing to answer questions. Highly recommended if your in the area on holiday.
  • Awesome experience. Free entry . Lots to see and good facilities. Went on the river cruise which was good value and a memorable experience. Don't miss edith falls which is on the other side of kathrine gorge. If you feel a bit sore after all the walks go to kathrine hot springs and enjoy the warm springs. Upgade of facilities is in progress.
