  • Admirals Arch isn't the only thing to do here. It's amazing to look at, but so is the dozens of seals flopping about on the rocks, the lighthouse, the incredible views of the ocean, the island and the cliffs. We spent ages just staring at the vast horizon, you really get an amazing view from so far up. One of my very favourite places in Kangaroo Island.
  • Such a beautiful place. Got better and better the further down we got. The waves on the rocks, such beautiful colours and then the seals and seal pups!! Favourite place on the island, and we loved so many things on our trip!
  • Another postcard spot for kangaroo island. Many dozens of seals live here, they can put on quite a show. The arch itself possibly attracts less attention than the seals. Plus, the seal colony and the fact that the bottom of the arch can be submerged in high tide leaves a distinctive and unpleasant smell. Can be very windy. The easy access board walk is a bit too long but offers great seaview. You actually walk on top of the arch before descending to its bottom. The nearby cottage offers great accommodation if you want to spend more time here to see the remarkable rocks at sunset and explore other parts of the Flinders chase NP.
  • From car park we took our time and walked slowly while taking photos and videos of waves crashing into rocks. It was fantastic experience looking through the arch and taking some photos. Through the arch we saw what we saw from the rocks above.
  • You won't believe what nature is able to do, when you look at this spectacular arch. Wow! Furthermore we saw lots of (sun)bathing fur seals on the rocks and in the small ponds. Last but not least you will enjoy the short walk to the arch (recommendation: park at the lighthouse, walk down and stop at the lookouts)
