A huge collection of gold nuggets, bars, and other glittering objects is displayed in an underground vault, and the second floor of the museum is taken up with indigenous cultural items and historical artifacts from the early mining days. • This is a great museum with a lot of interesting information on the history of the goldfields. You could spend the day here learning about the past
  • An amazing amount of Gold in the vault below. interesting displays and great to see the narrowest pub. I really enjoyed talking to the attendant at the end, she was a wealth of knowledge.

  • The different displays in the museum are great. Loved going up in the elevator to the platform. Good view.
  • Great museum showing off the history of the town and it's association with gold mining. Amazing staff who really care about their work.
  • A very interesting museum documenting Kalgoorlie and the goldrush.
  • Absolutely loved this very special museum with its wonderful interpretation of the area.
  • Visited the Museum in 2015 & enjoyed an hour or so of walking around having a look at the history of Kalgoorlie / Boulder & the gold rush. Could easily spend many hours, though I found having a small look 1 day & returning the following for another walk around best for me. The view from the top of the head frame gives a great look over the Kalgoorlie township. I think entry is free, though a gold coin donation maybe expected, worth putting some time aside for a visit.
