Visit Rainbow Jungle, perhaps Australia's most beautiful parrot habitat. You will find one of Australia’s largest free-flight areas, with the biggest flock of purple-crowned lorikeets in the world, along with other brightly colored Australian parrots. Wander through the center along paved brick pathways, through landscaped tropical gardens, past waterfalls, fountains, stained-glass windows, gargoyles, and lily ponds. Enjoy close encounters with the local black, red, and yellow white-tailed cockatoos, and don't be surprised if you hear them say "hello" as you pass by. Around every corner, there are parrots in all colors of the rainbow, such as the eclectus parrot and the colorful and mischievous blue and gold South American macaws. Relax in the covered picnic area and have some tea, coffee, cool drinks, or ice cream. Arrange to visit Rainbow Jungle and other attractions in Kalbarri using our Kalbarri trip builder.

  • Really interesting place to visit, birds are spectacular. Lots to see. loved the whale watching towers, great views and really nice café for a quick bite
  • The birds and various enclosures were enjoyable and kids had a great time exploring. Maze was overpriced and underwhelming.
  • With lots of love are to detail the various explains both indigenous and non-indigenous species of birds! Some fly around freely. Some birds are even willing to talk :-)!

  • They've made sort of a little maze where you can walk trough and see all the birds, it's very nice. So many species and all the info gives you a sense of awareness about which ones are endangered or rare.
  • So many species of parrots, all of them were very attractive & some of them even say hello and sing song.
  • As per earlier post, certainly worth paying a visit and good value for money :)
  • Quite interesting!
  • Excellent exhibits. Well worth a look.
