  • What a fantastic resource for the people of Brisbane & Ipswich! Undercover and air-conditioned exhibits of a high quality show the history of rail & trains in Queensland. While the museum is (on the whole) more suited to young people there's more than enough to spark the interest of adults. Highly recommended.
  • I love this location, I come all the time for the markets to take photos. Its beautiful. Just before sunset the sides of the buildings are bathed in this yellow glow of light that just sets the red bricks off. I love it. The staff are always nice too and the markets they hold there are wonderful.
  • Great place for kids. Not huge, but enough to keep the little ones entertained. An annual pass is well worth it if you have little ones that you can bring back a few times.
  • This is a well established historical attraction with excellent facilities, toilets, cafe etc. There is disabled access and plenty of parking. A really excellent children's play area and something for every level of interest. For a Queensland Rail enthusiastist it's essential. The only downside as far as we were concerned was it was massive and felt deserted in off season. If you are taking the family definitely one for school holidays. It also advertises markets check the website for details.
  • Fantastic day out -- my son LOVED it and still talks about it. The train simulator is definitely a highlight :)
