In it is rolled the film Avatar, I think that that it says all. Forests of vegetation lush, rivers, springs and waterfalls are some of the things that you expect. In winter there is that driving with much caution because the roads and roads that it run through are very slippery. If you're going to explore it on foot, should be accompanied by a raincoat and some food and water. We were there for 2 days and we knew a little because there are lots of trails and activities offered in the area.show original

If you come to the Cape Otway Lighthous (1848) buy here than not have access cards you will have plenty of Lichthouses against just a waste of your money. And zovriendelijk they are not there!. Visit the village bury located behind and let the loneliness and concerns of those people on you.show original

Absolutely love this place. One of the most visited places in Australia for me. Great ocean road near by. Multiple waterfalls in the hilly rain forest. Many 4WD tracks with stunning views of the hills, rain forest and the ocean. Although most tracks are closed in winter. If you like 4wd ing ideal time is to travel in summer. Preferably later summer, early autumn to avoid fire dangers. But if you like water falls then summer will not be the right time as most waterfalls will have little to no water in it. Wet winter season is the best time for waterfalls.

On the road towards the Otway Lightstation, you might be lucky to meet some lovely friends. One of the places you can see Koalas in the wild. They often can be seen hanging off the trees. It’s really an amazing treat to be able to catch koalas in the wild, and lots of it too.
Visited The Great Ocean Road in Dec 2013 with a friend. Awesome few days. The wine tasting, the drive, ottoway national park, The awesome ancient rainforest, Koala Bears, ottaway lighthouse, beautiful beaches , twelve Apostles and an awesome Ocean. A must do trip whilst in Victoria. Cant wait to take my wife in Feb 2017
Didn't get to see much but that which we did se was well maintained and signed. The area seems very well manged and open for everyone to enjoy just like a National Park should be.
I love this place, lots of koalas and spectacular views. It covers a big area.
