  • Lovely roads to drive around and beautiful scenery to walk amongst. We spent a few days and nights exploring and staying in the free camping sites. Highly recommend visiting.
  • Spectacular national Park, the lighthouse is definitely worth a visit. The guides are friendy add have a wealth of knowledge about the region.

  • The Great Otway National Park is one you can visit to enjoy the many facets of nature in Victoria. From rain forests to giant ferns to beautiful waterfalls to lighthouses, it's all there. And, it's quite large that you need to either set aside a few days to cover everything or make a few trips. With the beautiful Great Ocean Road on one side and to get you there, I'd definitely enjoy making that drive a number of times. On this visit, we decided to cover a cross section of these attractions. Hence, we visited: - Giants ferns at the Maits Rest rain-forest walk - A number of waterfalls - Erskine falls, Hopetoun falls and the Triplet falls - Lighthouses - Split point light house and the Cape Otway Lightstation As the national park is quite large, you are not going to be able to cover the entire park in one day, let alone in a few days, I think. So, it's important to plan where you want to visit within the park carefully. Select the places you want visit, then put them into a map and re-arrange the order so that you won't end up double backing on routes. And, make sure to you take your time enjoying each stop.
