Opened in 1964, Tasman Bridge is one of the world’s earliest box-girder cantilever bridges, most famous for the fact that it collapsed one night in 1975. • There was never any traffic congestion on this bridge during our visit. We actually drove back over it for a photo as the coloured lights at night were so lovely.
  • The bridge is new, very extensive and very well cared for and well signposted. I did a walk by the river and the view is stunning

  • The day already is admired for its grandeur, but at night, with the lights, it is even more impressive. Not to be missed!
