Known as one of the city’s most prestigious areas, Sandy Bay faces the Derwent River and features several popular beaches. The area is dotted with quaint houses and small shops selling a variety of locally-made products.   • There are plenty of restaurants here, because they have to live in the city center, but also to stroll around, and in the evening of Friday there is a bazaar near the beach to fit the whole family out. can also be in the supermarket here.
