Known as one of the city’s most prestigious areas, Sandy Bay faces the Derwent River and features several popular beaches. The area is dotted with quaint houses and small shops selling a variety of locally-made products.   • We only spent a very short time at Sandy Bay, however the surrounding roads give you absolutely beautiful views all the way around Sandy Bay. Beautiful wharfs and boats to wander around, must see.
