  • Admittedly the entry fee is a bit steep considering the size of the place, at around $10 or so, but it's really the personal guiding through the museum that makes it worth the money. The guides were e...  more »
  • Loved the reproduction and the history. The story was so well explained, by the staff and also the written information. 
  • Quite expensive for a short visit. Interesting to see inside the replica but not somewhere to spend lots of time.

  • My husband loves anything about Antarctic exploration. I don't like the cold. But this was really great, a replica of a hut decorated from photos of the original, there is a basket sitting on a beam because there was one in the photo etc. So many little details, like the menu on the wall...not penguin again? Well worth a visit.
  • Great staff who take the time to explain the importance Hobart has played in exploring the Antarctic.
