  • Interesting to see how they lived while on the expedition and to see some elements of the story of the adventure. Staff were knowledgeable and quite happy to give some background info
  • If you are interested in the history of Antartica, well worth a visit. Take the time to read all the stories, absorb and consider the achievements and what the men and dogs experienced. May seem small and not that great if the topic does not already interest you before going in.
  • Great little museum giving good insight into life on early exploration in the Antarctic. They also offer a free members sign-up so you get in free next time you bring paying visitors along.
  • Great description and history of the Mawson led Australian Antarctic Expedition and exact replica of Mawsons Huts. Well worth a visit.
  • Well worth visiting...great display and staff were really knowledgable.
